Mike Baker-Pastor
I came to serve as Pastor at Crosswind in the Spring of 2011. I am privileged to minister and invest in such a fine congregation. Before serving at Crosswind, I ministered at churches in Pennsylvania and the Memphis area. I have been a Professor at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and I am currently a Professor at Mid-Continent University. I have been married to my wife, Jena, since 1999. We have three wonderful children: Noah, Grayson, and Carrigan. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, golfing, reading, and time with my wife and children.

Jerry Wiggins-Associate Pastor
Betty and I retired at the end of 2003 after serving the Lord in Ministry over 43 years. We came to Northwest Tennessee from Texas to be with our children and friends from our early ministry. We searched for a church family that had the contemporary style we were accustom to. Crosswind met that need in our lives.
I pastored three churches in Texas, two churches in West Tennessee, and served as Associate Pastor in six churches. Betty and I hosted and produced, "Prophecy in Review," a Christian Television program on KLTJ-TV for 3 years. We traveled to Israel (4 times), Greece, Holland, Switzerland, and Jordan. I have made multiple mission trips to Mexico and Betty joined me when possible. I have taught Financial Seminars, I am a counselor and a Church Home Group developer and trainer. Small Groups and reaching people for Christ are the priority in our lives and I am honored and excited to serve as Home Group Pastor at Crosswind Church.

Chris Brewer-Music Minister
I am originally from Parsons, TN. Parsons is a little town on the banks of the Tennessee River. I made my way up to northwest Tennessee by enrolling to receive an education from UT Martin. I began attending Crosswind in 2006 as a college student looking for a contemporary church experience. It wasn't long after my first visit that I began playing with the Crosswind worship team. At the time, I was leading weekly worship for a college group in Martin and was recording with a Christian rock band. While at Crosswind, God began to reveal a new direction in my life. I became the church's worship minister in March 2007, and have been truly blessed since coming on board! I married my best friend, Chelsea, on June 12, 2010 and we have one little girl, Madison. Outside of my service to our Lord, I enjoy sports, listening to music, watching movies, traveling, & hanging out with my family and friends.

Hunter Rice-Youth Minister
I was born and raised in Union City, TN. I attended college in Boone, North Carolina at Appalachian State University. My last two years in college I served at First Baptist Church as Youth Pastor. In 2005, I married my best friend and partner in ministry, Melissa Rice. Shortly after we were married we moved to Union City to begin the calling God placed on my life of ministering to the students within the public school system. Since returning to Union City, Melissa and I have welcomed two beautiful little girls in to the world; Adeline and Emma Jane Rice. I’ve had the opportunity to coach football for six years and track for three while employed at Union City. Three years ago I had the privilege of starting the first ever Fellowship of Christian Athlete huddle at the middle school, where I currently serve as the huddle coach. In 2010, God allowed me the opportunity to help start an outdoor mentoring ministry called Call’em In Outdoors. The ministry seeks to reach junior high males, who aren’t reaching their fullest potential do to a variety of issues, with the Gospel of Christ. With the help of my wife Melissa, we are so blessed and excited to have the opportunity to minister to the students of this church and surrounding area.
